1. General Information & Declaration

Welcome to www.safariwindow.com (Website). This website is owned and operated by a private travel company specializing in organizing Ranthambore Tour Packages & Safari Packages.

Declaration: We would like to clarify that we, as a private travel agency, are not authorized by the Forest Department, nor do we make any claims of affiliation with them. Our services primarily cater to booking safaris, arranging hotel accommodations, coordinating transportation (pickups/drops), and facilitating reservations on behalf of our customers. We operate independently and charge a reasonable service fee. Please note that our service charges may vary based on the demand for safari bookings and can increase during peak periods.

2. Booking & Confirmation

  • Advance Booking: You must pay full fees in advance to make safari bookings. You can book your safari up to a maximum of 90 days in advance.
  • ID Proof Requirements: Valid ID proof (Aadhar Card, Voter ID, Driver's License) is mandatory for every Indian visitor. Passport details are mandatory for foreign tourists.
  • Carrying ID on Safari: You must carry the exact same original ID card that you submitted during the online booking.
  • Non-Transferable: Bookings are strictly non-transferable and cannot be exchanged with anyone else.
  • Permit Issuance: Safari permits are issued on a first-come, first-serve basis, subject to availability.

3. Forest Department Rules & Guidelines

  • Provisional Reservations: All reservations for entry and stay in Ranthambore Tiger Reserve are provisional in nature and are subject to modification or cancellation by the Field Director (Ranthambore Tiger Reserve) without assigning any reasons.
  • Park Closure: The park may be closed without any prior notice to visitors.
  • Zone Allocation: Your safari zone may be any one of the 1 to 10 zones of Ranthambore Tiger Reserve. Specific zone booking is not guaranteed, though we try our best to book according to your preference.
  • Reporting Time: Visitors are required to report at the boarding place 15 minutes prior to the scheduled departure of the safari.

4. Cancellations & Refund Policy

Please carefully read our strictly enforced cancellation policies:

  • Confirmed Bookings: Gypsy Safari and Canter Safari payments are non-refundable. There shall be no cancellation/refund for any confirmed safari under any circumstances, and no requests will be entertained for rescheduling.
  • Permit Issued: If your permit has already been issued, refunds will not be available.
  • Special Monsoon Cancellation Policy: In the event that the park is officially closed due to rain, a refund of 75% will be issued for Gypsy bookings and 65% for Canter bookings.
  • Unconfirmed Bookings: Current/Tatkal booking safari charges will be refunded only in case the booking is not confirmed.
  • Refund Method: Any applicable refunds will be issued using the same payment method originally used by the customer.

5. Current / Tatkal Bookings

  • Booking requests must be submitted at least one day before the safari.
  • 100% confirmation of current/Tatkal bookings is not assured.
  • If you book a safari for the next day, your booking will be considered as a ‘Current Booking’, and all terms & conditions of current bookings will apply.

6. Liabilities and Limitations

  • Wildlife Sightings: Spotting wildlife in their natural habitat is purely a matter of chance. We do not guarantee wildlife sightings during the safari.
  • Price Revisions: After finalizing the tour/service cost, if there are any hikes in permit fees, taxes, fuel costs, or guide charges by the authorities, the difference will be charged as extra and must be paid by the visitor at the time of entry into the park.
  • Hotel Accommodations: Standard check-in time is 12:00 Noon and check-out time is 11:00 AM (may vary from hotel to hotel). Early check-in is strictly subject to room availability.
